Our Story
Celebrating over 30 years of dance!
In 1987, right after college and starting a family, Grace Noyes, Owner realized her lifelong dream and established Needham Dance Theatre. Our humble begins where in the lower hall at the Carter Memorial Church.
We didn’t last there long as our program blossomed and we secured our place as a program of excellence for the child of Needham and surrounding communities.
Through the years our experienced and creative teaching staff has devoted themselves to providing the highest quality dance education that addresses the needs of each child as a whole; focusing on mental and physical well being, confidence - building and happiness.
As we have had many dancers go on to perform in acclaimed ballet company or major in dance in college, our goal is to teach good, solid dance technique while fostering the love of dance in each of our students regardless of their ability. Season after season, we proudly continue to provide a noncompetitive, positive environment in which children learn and thrive.
All of us in the Needham Dance Theatre family have one mission - for our students to grow, learn, feel great about themselves through the unique joy that only dance provides.
